My favorite part of Christmas is seeing the effects of Christmas. Lights go on bushes, presents get put under trees, malls erect their Santa stations, Christmas carols are blasted from car radios, and all those pinned candy recipes are finally put to use, but what I really love is how everybody takes the time, even if it is just a moment spared to buy their teacher a popcorn tin or their secretary a desk calendar, to think of every single person they love and appreciate. It’s even more amazing to see how some take that good feeling and apply it to something like the United Way or their church because they feel the need to share the joy. That to me is the Christmas spirit in action. Thank you for doing this, and Happy Holidays!

My favorite part of Christmas is when my entire family gathers for dinner Christmas night. Most of us live in different places so it's the one time of year that we're ALL together. We eat delicious filet mignon, drink wine, and laugh. Not to mention the beautiful prayer that lasts about 30 minutes before sitting down to eat.

My favorite things about Christmas are the lights, the scents, and the traditions! Favorite foods, candles and treelight, and the smell of pine and spices in the air never fail to imbue a scene with peace and happiness. It's my favorite time of year, bar none.

Christmas has always been the time to be thankful for the people in my life. This Christmas, it's become that much and more, particularly with all the craziness in the world today.
Most of all, I love being with my husband and daughter. This is our first Christmas alone, after moving to Seattle from Florida, leaving our families behind. And I really view it as a blessing. I'm not missing the craziness of coordinating between all of the families, spending too much time worrying and driving and baking. I'm so happy to be relaxed and just enjoy my two favorite people.
